Trec

The word “TREC” is a french abbreviation for “Technique de randonnée équestre en compétition” which can be translated with “Technical Reconnaissance Equestrian Competitive”.
The discipline of Trec was born in France about 30 years ago from the need to make some competitive phases in equestrian tourism. Soon the discipline, that takes place entirely outdoors in contact with nature, is diffused in many other European countries, including Italy.
All these countries, led by France, founded the International Federation of Equestrian Tourism “FITE”, where the discipline of TREC, along with equestrian tourism, is internationally recognized. Today 19 nations adhere to FITE.

The TREC is a discipline that takes place on three tests:

1) P.O.R.: orientation and regularity
The rider must be able to duplicate and read in detail a location on a topographical map and go through this unknown path along with his horse.
At the start you are given an average speed to maintain.
On the way, in places unknown to the rider, they are placed checkpoints, where the couple must pass mandatory with the most accurate hour mean.
The difficulty of this test can range from a simple test of goodwill (designed to help those who approaches Trec for the first time) up to a racing selective test, which is hard to pass without a good knowledge of the use of the compass.
Depending on the type, the tracer POR, (the one that traces the route to be followed), facilitates or makes it difficult the orientation.

2) P.P.A.: mastered gaits
The second test is to follow a corridor 2 meters wide and 150 meters long, galloping in the slowest possible way, and in step as quickly as possible to eventually return without breaking the gaits.

3) P.T.V.: varied terrain
The varied terrain test, is perhaps the most spectacular.
Iovercome as correctly as possible a series of obstacles that can be found commonly in the country like opening and closing a gate remaining on the saddle, jumping over a ditch, a tree or a fence, getting off the horse or by hand from a talus, crossing a  ford or a bridge, taking a slalom etc.etc.
In these tests, time is not the key factor.

The ponies and the horses disposed by the club are docile and trustworthy and used to work in sections during group lessons. Our horses are suitable for children and adults, beginners or expert horsemen. We have selected them and trained based on their behaviour to offer our guest the best. The students will have the possibility to learn basic management notions followed by the instructors to become completely sufficient in terms of cleaning, saddling and unsaddling of the horse. Making the relationship with this animal rewarding (satisfy) is our aim.

The horses disposed are:

• 5 haflinger
• 2 quarter horse
• 3 italian saddle
• 3 ponies
• 1 donkey

The club offers for its activities three outdoor fields (two stablesin sands 20×40 m and an outdoor cross field of 5 ha). Our structures can host 30 horses “steady”.

The boxes are wide and welcoming, they are cleaned every they, bedding in “shavings” or straw. We have the possibility of hosting horses in hut and paddock. We offer a horse lodging service trust or half trust.

We also have many steady and secured fences where to tie the horses.

The structures/buildings that our Club includes are these:

• two outdoor stables 20×40
• An outdoor field with minimum gradients of 5 hectare for training and lessons
• club house
• two saddleries
• two washings
• a green area for children’s games
• a wide public space reserved to organize parties
• car and trailer parking
• 26 paddock
• grazing areas

The advantage in our system is that the horse isn’t traumatised and it can express its quality through a progressive path.

The result is that our horses are faithful in men, curious and available.

Private

Private horses can be host in the club with the formula of monthly rent that includes the use of the structures for the workout and training during the whole year.

Services included:

• 2 meals a day (fodder and hay)
• Supplements provided by the owner
• Bedding in shaving or straw
• Box cleaning

Optional services:

• Personalised nourish
• Exit in paddock
• Workout of the horse mount by a qualified horseman
• Private lessons
• Remittance irons by qualified stuff
• Medical assistance

trust and half trust

Having a own horse is a fantastic experience, but for those who are not ready to afford a definite purchase, the rent formula, through trust and half trust, allows to have a horse available, with the possibility to train and improve following group or individual lessons and to join competitions.

The Club is able to advise you in the choice of the ideal companion to trust in for this adventure.

Trust and half trust don’t bind to the purchase and give the foster the opportunity to withdraw previous prior notice.
